Tennessee Osteopathic Center (TOC) is a direct primary care practice in Cleveland, TN that operates on a monthly membership fee and does not accept insurance. The membership fee is paid directly to TOC so you know upfront how much your healthcare will cost.

Lab tests and procedures performed in the office are included in your membership, and we have negotiated greatly discounted rates on outside labs and imaging. House calls and after hours visits are available, when appropriate, at no additional charge.

Members receive 24/7 access to their doctor. In order to provide such high quality care, we have about a tenth the number of patients in our practice as traditional, insurance-based practices. Because of this, we can offer better quality of care in an unhurried, relaxed environment that focuses on your overall health and wellness.

Benefits of Direct Primary Care

Consultation is always free. Effective primary care is built on the relationship between you, your family, office staff, and the doctor. We offer a free visit before you sign up to ensure we are a good fit for you.

Unlimited Access to Your Doctor. Really, we mean it! We understand that illness and injury don’t take a break. Middle of the night, holidays, weekends, whenever you might need us, we are here.

Extended, Relaxed Visits. We will never rush you in and out of your visit. We will take the time to answer any questions you may have. Part of taking control of your health is ensuring that you understand your care.

Same Day and Next Day Services. Because we limit the number of patients in our practice, we will always have time for you. You and your health are our priority, and you’ll know it.

House Calls. Too sick to come to the office? Stuck at work and can’t get away? If necessary, we will come to you.

In-Office Testing. Standard tests such as urinalysis, strep throat, flu, and EKG are included in your membership fee at no additional charge.

In-Office Procedures. Mole removal, skin biopsies, laceration repair, and others are included at no additional charge.

Outside Labs and Imaging. Any lab tests or imaging that is needed and cannot be performed in the office will be offered at a greatly reduced price.

Wholesale Medication. Common medications are available at a wholesale price through the office. If we don’t have it, then we will help you find the cheapest price available.

Limited number of integrative services included. A Specialty of TOC is osteopathic manipulative treatment and acupuncture. We offer a limited number of treatments free to members when it relates to treatment of acute illnesses. If you should need more treatments, these will be offered at a substantial discount.

Free admission to all TOC classes. Periodically we will offer classes on different subjects such as diabetes care, Tai Chi, mindfulness, etc. As a member, you will have free access to these.
